A post on the Frank Fritz Friends Facebook page announced, "It is with a heavy heart that we share Frank passed away last night around 7:30. He was surrounded by myself, Mike Wolfe, who rushed back from Nashville, and other close friends. Please understand this is an incredibly difficult time for us, including Mike. We kindly ask for your compassion as we navigate this loss. Thank you all for your love and support over the years."

Frank Fritz, born in Davenport, is best known for co-starring with Mike Wolfe on the History Channel's American Pickers, where they traveled across the country uncovering unique treasures in unexpected places.
